Obducat receives prestigious award
OBDUCAT, the leading supplier of lithography solutions based on NanoImprint Lithography and Electron Beam Lithography, is pleased to announce the receipt of the "EuroAsia IC Industry Award" in the category "MicroNanoSystems Innovation" for its dedicated mass production lithography tool Sindre®.
Obducat has been awarded the EuroAsia IC Industry Award in the "MicroNanoSystems Innovation" category for the Sindre® high volume manufacturing nano-imprint lithography (NIL) system, based on the IPS®-STU® process.
The EuroAsia IC Industry Awards focus on the people, processes and products that drive the industry forward. The EuroAsia Semiconductor magazine has created the IC Industry Awards to recognise the vital individuals and companies that enable a company to achieve success in a competitive global market.
What make these awards unique in the microelectronic industry is not simply that the winners were decided by those that use the tools but that it demonstrates positive relationships between tool and service providers and their customers.
The winners tend to be those companies that get behind their nomination and have a positive customer relationship. Manufacturers no longer wish to deal with companies that only provide a service. The microelectronics industry demands closer ties between customer and vendor that go beyond tool and maintenance.
"We feel strongly about acknowledging the technological achievements of the industry and these categories and products represent key areas of innovation in the chip manufacturing process.", says David Ridsdale, Editor in Chief, EuroAsia Semiconductor Magazine.
This year the EuroAsia IC Industry award is presented in Europe at the SEMICON Europa 2008 exhibition.
"We are very proud to be presented with this award. This is yet another confirmation of the fact that we are established as the leading company in nano imprint lithography.", says Patrik Lundström, CEO of Obducat AB.
